The "Flevo Cheers" gladiolus variety, sold here in 5 piece packages, dazzles both with its size and the unusual flower shape. These blooms have corrugated edges. The extraordinary giant presented here grows 140 - 160 cm tall and develops surprisingly long, exuberant inflorescences in form of dense, compact ears. The funnel-shaped flowers they are built of consist of large, broad petals with wavy edges. Their snow-white colour is warmed with creamy-yellow spots visible on the perianth. A rich, erect inflorescence surrounded by green, sword-shaped, vertically erect leaves looks elegant and adorable.

Gladioli bulbs may be planted from middle to the end of spring on bright, warm and wind-sheltered sites. Gladioli love sunlight, although they tolerate partial shade too. We recommend to provide them with a permeable, moist, humous soil with a neutral or slightly acidic reaction in order to achieve best possible results. The "Flevo Cheers" gladiolus would form a terrific border background or a magnificent grouping in the centre of a lawn thanks to its imposing size. Bulbs of this marvellous variety may be also planted in rows alongside a wall, fence or path. The rich, exuberant inflorescences may also be cut and put into vases.
